O ponto alto da premiação é Hideo Kojima sendo aplaudido de pé.

Todos sabemos da novela envolvendo a Konami e o gênio Hideo Kojima que foi censurado de receber prêmios pelo seu último game Metal Gear V: The Phantom Pain, e a campanha de desvincular o nome de Kojima da série feita pela Konami e recebida de forma agressiva pelo público que tomou as dores e partido do artista.

Apresentado por Guilhermo del Toro, Kojima recebeu sua merecida premiação com aplausos de pé. Confira abaixo:
